Buying garden furniture for UK weather

Outdoor furniture in the UK may face periods of rain, strong sunlight and temperature changes. Check manufacturer instructions for exposure, storage and care rather than assuming that all furniture can remain outside uncovered throughout winter. Clean frames with methods appropriate to their finish, allow cushions to dry fully before storage and avoid trapping moisture beneath poorly ventilated covers. For glass tabletops, check the supplied item’s glass specification and care guidance before use.

What should I measure before ordering? In addition to the patio itself, measure gates, doorways, steps and other access points. Allow clearance around hanging-chair frames and room to move around larger dining tables. For sectional sets, measure the final assembled layout rather than the dimensions of one component.

Can I order online and collect locally? Collection options depend on the individual product and current store arrangements. Read the checkout information and contact Bayton Horticulture Centre if you need to confirm stock or collection of bulky garden furniture.

What is included with a set? The contents vary by model. Refer to each product’s verified description for furniture pieces, cushions, rain covers and assembly hardware. If a listing contains conflicting details, ask the store to confirm the supplier packaging before paying.

Explore the individual garden furniture products to compare prices, dimensions and available options. Buying the right set is about fit, functionality and reliable product information—not simply the biggest discount or the highest stated seating capacity.
